A customer's rental property was suffering from an extensive mould problem in the hall, bedroom, bathroom and in the lounge, behind their TV. The tenant even had to move their mattress into another room to sleep, as the mould was so widespread in their bedroom.
We attended the property to carry out an assessment of the mould situation and conducted a risk assessment. Given the health hazards of mould and the extent of mould in this case, we had to ensure it was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Using the latest moisture reading equipment, we were able to determine that the readings of the external walls indicated they were at more risk of condensation.
